Hello guys, I’m really new on this, but I’d really appreciate any help on this matter. I’ve made a selection of a group of elements based on category and then override them by colour. But for scheduling, I need to filter them from the list in Dynamo, and I don’t know how to extract that information from Element.OverrideColor in View.

Instead of overriding the view, why not set a instance parameter value for ‘color’ to a string which you can then group by? You could even use this to control the display via a filter, or perhaps just set an instance parameter for material while you are at it.
