I’m trying to manipulate the Revit’s load classifications for electrical panel schedules. What I would like to do is grab just the first letter of each classification type and display it in its own column for each of my loads. For example, if I had a conference room lighting circuit, and “L” would appear in a column next to the load description “Conference Room Lighting”. For an elevator, an “M” (for motor) would appear next to the load description “Elevator”. Below is a list of all the classifications I’d like to use:
L - Lighting
M - Motor
E - Equipment
O - Other
R - Receptacle
H - Heating
A - Appliance
Any help would be great appreciated. Thanks!
