Looking to tap in to Revit and alter the RGB values of Shading, Surface Pattern and Render Appearance. I have been told there is a limitation in the Revit API for Appearance info. I have an excel to revit script all ready to go with the specific RGB values and linked them to the corresponding Material names, Now all I have to do is establish the connection between the data and the “Color” parameters within the Materials Editor. Please note that I have not been doing scripting for long, so this rudimentary attempt to process a connection is a cry for help! Just starting with Surface Pattern Color first.
