Dynamo solid too complex for Revit

Hi @jeroen.infranea,

Is it possible that you have a scaling problem ?
In other words, could it be that parts of your solid are too small (in stead of to complex) for creation in revit ?
I remember somthing like that some time ago when i imported a sat file in Revit.
I’m not sure, but i think i used a scalefactor of 1000 (can’t lookup my files right now).

I hope it helps.

@jeroen.infranea the error you are getting is telling you that you cannot use that node in a family document, only in a project environment. @Shay_Egan’s suggestion to use Springs.DirectShapeByGeometry would work in a family document. I tried your files and changed the Springs.FamliyInstance.ByGeometry to that the Springs.DirectShapeByGeometry and it worked.

@Kulkul, you must have ran the script from a .rvt file and not an .rfa, I’m guessing?
