The mouse cursor on top of Dynamo Player window will show as sandglass.

You mean when dynamo player is opened? or after a script is ran?
Whenever Dynamo Player is opened.
Update: I can use Tab key to move around and added my own folder path, and the pop up directory selection window does not freeze, however when it returns to homepage it is the same, and I could not use Tab key to locate to my added folder
