The topic title says it all. It would be nice if we had a shortcut for creating a python script node. Rather than right-click, search, type py, click Python Script. Maybe a keyboard shortcut would be too hard because you’d have to differentiate when people are typing in a node or trying to use the shortcut… Could we put Python Script as an option in the right-click menu?

Personally I think customizable keyboard shortcuts of some type would be nice, would help here as well as with other tools. Even if the binding map was somewhat limited to options (i.e. only numbers 0-9).
Can you add a ‘wish’ to the roadmap so the team can get it into the backlog. The timing here makes it likely to fall though the cracks otherwise. I’ll try to follow up in the new year either way.
