Dynamo 3.2 and IronPython3

So… I went to dl IronPython3…

I tried 1.5.1 but got a warning…

A friend who works for another company has the same version of Dynamo and got no warning…

So I’m confused.

The package details also said there’s no python in this python node?

I feel I’m being rather dense. Can someone shed some light on which version I should use please?

What was the warning?

That it was made for a newer version of Dynamo.

Are you and the friend certain you’re in the same build, hosted in the same way?

Do you have any packages or customizations which the friend doesn’t, or vice versa?

25.2.0.38

2025.2

I’ve not done customisation, nor have I added any packages yet.

@MHaworthAEW , have you done any customising or adding of dodgy packages  ?

Mine is as vanilla as a Walls 99

Revit 25.2
Dyno 3.2

Only packages installed currently are
Bumblebee
Data Shapes
Ironpython3

As I’d just opened up a fairly basic script to check it out

Can you trigger the warning again? (Might have to uninstall it first)

Ok; interesting that @MHaworthAEW didn’t see this, however it’s not an error or even a warning, but more of an “FYI”. The package should install fine for you and work without issue. If not, then we’ve got something to deal with.

I installed it anyway… But I was surprised at the error message as I’ve got Dyno 3.2 which I thought was pretty much the newest one?

Perhaps a development team member used their latest build to publlish. You could download and install a daily build to try:

Or they could have done this via custom upload (the advantage to being inside the factory) and posted from a non-existant build, or with a build flag that would trigger the warning in all cases (i.e. Dynamo 999.999.1).
