Integer.
It’s a Levels thing.
Try the flatten node after the calculation node or click value and set it at Level @1
(i think Level @1 is correct, not sure tho. I am not a Levels guru ).
FYI https://dynamobim.org/introducing-listlevel-working-with-lists-made-easier/
EDIT
Nevermind the part about Levels. Didn’t see you added a List.Create
(forgive me, i am a week off work so i am on ‘vacation mode’ ).
So if you change the Integer to a Number or Text it should be solved.
Might be wrong but AFAIK integers don’t handle decimals.
I guess a number or a text would be better (more flexible too).
That was it.
Can you mark my post as Solution. Thank you.
PS
I hoped you learned a thing or two from this topic .
Yes, but before I do, I just want to make sure the 20 min split works. Anything you need from me, you have. I am really really appreciative! You have no idea! Thank you so much!
And yes - I learned a lot!
Ok - last thing: The A28 Wall is the demising wall that I want to be 20 min.
Two questions:
-
this isn’t showing up in the schedule (not working). What am I doing wrong.
-
0.33 x 1 hour is going to give me 0.33. How do I convert this to “20 min”?
Hard to say without knowing how your Project is set up.
You could convert Hours to Minutes first.
Simple way Hours * 60 and then times your reduce factor.
What I meant was:
See circled parameter. Right now I thought the script would filter out wall types that are NOT A28. Anything with an A28 parameter would get a different value.
Would help a lot if i can see the Values under the corresponing Nodes.
Mostly of the == and the two Boolean nodes.
Why aren’t there Values in the first Element.GetParameterValueByName?
NB
I am on my phone currently, so it is bit hard for me to help you at the moment (i lack the overview).
Good question! The Base Partition Type is a type parameter…The get Parameter Value by Name node is hooked up to Family Instance.GetHost
I got it! I got it!
Good to hear! I notice some enthusiasm . Also don’t forget to mark replies as Solution. This helps this forum a lot!
PS
What was the problem?
I had to get type parameter
Trying to figure out how to post solution.
Should be one of the symbols under a reply.
