Dividing parameter value to multiple parameters

Ya…I am not getting null under FamilyInstance.location…
Its something wrong with the convert point…node I guess

I am using Revit 17

Also one more thing can we use nodes created in higher versions of dynamo in the lower versions or not?
is it like the revit families , eg. family created in higher version can not be used in lower version…

So use Convert Point in Coordinate Systems (prior Revit 2018)node and it should work fine.

Thanks for your time…I’ll give it a try…:grinning:
Is this node already available in dynamo or do I need to download any package?

Hi…

I used the node “Coordinate Systems (prior Revit 2018)” but still its not working.

See image below:

The node “Coordinate Systems (prior Revit 2018)” is showing three lists probably each as per the different coordinate system. But the lists are empty (null).

It is not reading the points from the previous node.

Any Help is appreciated…:grinning:

Hi,

Thanks for the sample Revit file.
It is working perfectly…once you define a survey or a project base point.
The file you send me was with the survey and the project base point at coordinates 0,0,0.

Note that you must filter your generic model families. Only the SOP_Symbol.rfa has the shared parameters Eastings and Northings.

Getting coordinates into other parameter V2.dyn (10.1 KB)

Hi…I tried your version of scirpt as well…but I am getting null list under the “convert point…” node.

also can you try using survey point in your script…?

Many thanks…!
