Can anyone tell me how to divide a loft surface so that I can begin to panelize it?
Loft surfaces can be tough to deal with, especially because you need to use reference curves as opposed to model curves to create them. I would recommend a swept surface instead. Swept surfaces are Dynamo objects, so you can be running on top of a family or a project file when you use them. See the attached dyn file for an example, which sweeps a tower and then panelizes the surfaces. The way you want to panel something can, of course, vary. This example just uses rectangles.
