Creating a Family at a range of locations referenced to external x,y,z Coordinates

Hi all,

I am a complete novice when it comes to Dynamo, having never used the software before.

I would like to create an icon in the form of a family at a range of locations throughout the model.

These locations are scan locations that were captured during the survey of a building.

We can export these x,y,z locations to an excel file.

So what I’m saying is; is it possible to create instances of a family using the x,y,z locations referenced in an excel file to represent each scan location throughout a building.

you can use familyinstance@XYZ and one of the excel extraction data nodes
