"Create Revit Elements" button not available in generative design in Revit 2023

Hello everyone. Why is “Create Revit Elements” button not available in generative design in Revit 2023? I ran the same study in Revit 2022 and the button was available, whereas it is not in Revit 2023.

Can you show us your graph as well as your GD run? Do you have any errors or warnings in the graph?

My graph is pretty big. I don’t think the issue is in the graph, as I’m able to run it with no errors or warnings. Also, the button was visible using the same DYN file in Revit 2022. I am seeing “open in Dynamo” button instead. Do you think there’s an error in Revit 2023 installation? If yes, how can I check that?

You need to run GD in Revit in order to get the “Create Elements in Revit” button. If you’re running GD in Dynamo then you’ll see the “Open in Dynamo” button instead.

So basically, “Create Elements in Revit” button is not available anymore in the educational version of Revit 2023?

I couldn’t answer that for you. Where are you running Generative Design?

I’m running GD from inside Dynamo, as running it from Revit is not an option when using an educational license. Basically, in Dynamo, I click Generative Design → Create Study. Please refer to this: Troubleshoot: Can’t Access Generative Design | Revit 2021 | Autodesk Knowledge Network

The solution was in that post itself. But thank you for guiding me and leading me to it. “On the Explore Outcomes dialog, the Create Revit Elements button is not available. Instead, set the desired input values, turn on the Data.Gate node, and run the graph to create elements in the model.”
