Create project parameter confused with shared

Followed a number of posts that did really identified some issues but no workaround. I have been trying to create project parameters within Dynamo unsuccessfully. I get the parameters created but they are shared parameters in Revit 2017.

The Createprojectparameternode is the same as the shared parameter node. can this be used to create a project parameter? I am trying to create columns for a development/lap length schedule ideally without Python.

Is the group name the issue?

There is currently no way to create project parameters without using shared parameters via the Revit API.

Hi Andreas thanks, I’m not great with Revit, I did a good search at the weekend and didn’t really get anywhere. It is a shame as it looks as though it’s not a massive amount of work. I probably can work with shared parameters just a little more work.
