Create curtain wall grids for mullions

I am attempting to create horizontal and vertical grids on a curtain wall(family: system family, type: curtain wall) through dynamo and have no idea where to begin. I have created a curtain wall from a model line and set its level and height offset but now I would like to set the grid based on a pattern generated in grasshopper (rhino) – not a generic spacing. Is there a way to do this without using adaptive components? The end result is a curtain wall with mullions placed in an irregular pattern.

Please let me know if I’ve overlooked an existing post on this topic or if I can refine my question further. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Paul,

There is a custom node “Create Curtain Grids” from “ReAnimation” Package.

Thanks for sending this! This node helps greatly. Just out of curiosity, is there a way to assign a gridline by a curve?

This thread is over a year old, may be best to start a new one, linking back to this and posting a screenshot of your error.
