Can dynamo compare point cloud data to a autocad solid
I am a civil 3D user, and I am familiar with building a surface and comparing with a design surface, this is very effective for topographical instances, but civil 3D won’t work on vertical surfaces. I need to do asbuilt surveys of structures, I have point cloud data of complex geometric structures with vaulted ceilings, and was wonderin if

It could be possible in Dynamo, but probably not easy
I’d take a look at Cloudcompare- it will compare a mesh to a pointcloud & generate a heat map of the variation between the two
