Hi,
I want to extract surfaces for a model in place component in revit. It gives me a list of areas but, i want to see them highlighted or bake in a parameter corresponding to the surfaces. Any ideas.
As for adding the parameter to the in place family.
Haven’t seen that yet.
If it cant be done in Revit it can’t be done in Dynamo.
Create a family (Generic or Mass or Adaptive) and try to run the script in the Family Editor.
There you can make all the parameters you want.
Model in place should be your last resort.
It eats file size for lunch.
