Code Blocks vs Length From String for "Units"

Is there anything special required to set the desired units within a Code Block?

 

Currently my test Family Parameter Changer utilizes Revit = Decimal Inches and Dynamo Length Display Units = Decimal Inch.

I have saved, re-started etc and when I enter 30 in my code block my revit displays 360" If I use the basic “Length From String” and enter 30in obviously I get 30in in my Revit.

Anything else I could try or am probably missing?

This seems to be an interesting and likely related issue to one I posted last week. I was using Length from String as well and had some odd results.

I’ll be watching your thread for an answer. It seems like there are quite a few issues related to units (especially imperial units) that are either bugs or just not well documented for the new users.
