Change Pipe Type?

All,

There has been a few threads in regards to this but I can never find a clear answer and a script or node that works…

I’m trying to change the type of the below pipes to Copper from Mild Steel
I believe pipes types are more of a system type than a family type…

Has anyone done this before?

I don’t know exactly what you’re trying to do but try element.parameters and element.name

Create pipe type with mild steel Pipe Segment and change pipe type by using “Element.SetParameter” node.
