Can we guess the weather just using DynamoBIM?

I am new to Dynamo and I read a subject about estimating weather by using Dynamo. Is ıt possible or just a fiction?

Using weather stations (available through the solar analysis package) you can get the forecast if that is what you mean?

The Ladybug package can process weather files (.epw) that can be downloaded from energyplus website. Unfortunately this package has issues in later revit builds, so John’s suggestion may be of more relevance until it is solved. Noting grasshopper’s equivalent still works.

I’m not sure if the weather data alone can ‘predict’ the weather, but it can assess things like sun positioning at future dates (and if you’re a climate scientist it might do more than I realise too!).
