Is actual Excel really needed for this node to work properly? My firm uses Open Office.
There is an inbetween option, you create a csv file and open that in your spreadsheet program.
When your done editing write to csv from OpenOffice and read that using Dynamo.
Yeah… I tried that and maybe I’m doing the something wrong because all the data is at the same line. There’s no columns.
Maybe you forgot the Transpose node somewhere
Yes I did forget. However, my schedule has pieces of text and even paragraphs. Every comma used in the text is breaking into another cell. I guess I’ll continue with a clean version of my schedule with just the primary list of names I actually need.
