Automatic dimensions - script adjustment for linked files

Good day,
Quite new to the Dynamo crew, but I’m slowly climbing by tweeking random issues and scripts.

One thing I’ve yet to learn is how to adjust scripts to work with linked files. This fine gentleman has made a beautiful script and it would work perfectly for my task, as long as I can make it work with a linked model.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I’d like to help but I haven’t used scripts on linked model elements yet. I know that nodes exist, however.
