hello ,
this script automatically highlightes the plan location on the keyplan in revit sheets.
unfortunately that is the best image quality i could get, does anyone have idea how can this workflow be done ?

Hey,
So it’ll depend how your project is setup… But possibly you have a titleblock with an embedded key plan drawn in linework. You then have a number of visibility parameters controlling red rectangles which highlight the various building zones that the sheet view might relate to…
The task is then to get the view on the sheet, and use it’s name to set the corresponding sheet titleblock visibility parameter to true?
E.g. the building has zone 31, so the view is called 31_Floor_Plan and the visibility parameter is called ‘31’
I think something like this would work… I don’t happen to have a suitable titleblock to hand… Hopefully it shows the principles.
Cheers,
Mark
EDIT : FYI Sometimes a boolean parameter in Revit needs a value of ‘1’ instead of ‘true’
