Wall Sweeps to wrong side of wall

Hi all,
I’ve been asked to model in skirtings to every room of a project (fun stuff), so was looking at a way of automating the placing of wall sweeps.

I can select a room, extract the walls that act as bounding elements, and create a sweep to these as shown (using the Data-Shapes WallSweepOnWall node) but as you can see from my example, it’s creating the sweep on the wrong side of the wall.

How can I control which face of the wall it applies to? The input of the node accepts walls, not faces.

After a bit more fiddling, I’ve determined it applies it to the Exterior side of the wall.

Hi @dan.buckingham you could try with element mirror or set location…

Thanks, that would appear to work, but it would cause issues when working with 2 adjoining rooms I feel.

I’m now changing approach, away from wall sweeps and instead placing line based families at room boundaries

allright and you are right wallsweep will always follow the wall not the rooms…good luck
