Hi all!
Is there a node in Dynamo that would allow to read each individual bar length from a varying rebar set? What I would like to do, is to get the average value of all the bar lengths in this varying rebar set, so this average value can be used further for calculations in rebar schedule.
can you explan more ? or show your archivments…

I think I got it. Might not be the most sophisticated of scripts, but works (see image below).
Before I had wanted to read the min and max values of the varying rebar set, then sum them and divide by two. Looks like with the method that I was using, Dynamo was not able to read the Bar Length for each bar - probably because the Bar Length in Revit is not a number, but .
Just started working with rebar in Revit and at this moment I’m trying to create a bar bending schedule, so this average value was needed to calculate the correct weight, as Revit by default takes the longest bar for calculation.
