apparently this is not possible doing variable rebar and editing one rebar by one to get in position, is it possible to do it in dynamo or another efficient way?
You can place points at the ends of the rebar (the areas shown in green in the visual) and check if these points are inside the geometry. Those that are outside will receive a false value. You can create a system that shortens the ones that receive a false value to a desired length. If you have already started a Dynamo file, I can provide more help.

i get all faces, at polycurve gives only 4 and only 2 of the intersect, but still nothing happens when try to run the code, idk if its because the rebar is variable
I can’t try anything without the Revit file. I need the staircase file and the rebar.
