Using Dynamo to create a new family from scratch

Dear all,

Thanks for reading this.
I am quite new to dynamo and my question might be quite basic.
I am trying to create a balustrade family from scratch. I found some tutorials about how to modify
the existing families in revit but the existing balustrade family is quite different from my design. So I am wondering is there any resource about using dynamo to create a family rather than modifying a family?

Hi @AJHamiltonHGA this post is from 2017, so we really can’t expect it to work in newer versions; our journey in Dynamo or Revit will always evolve as we learn more and more togheder which is actually really great. create a new post, and we might find a better solution than the one from back then. just my opinion :wink:
