Making a Family using dynamo

Hi everyone, I have a question bothering me for quiet a while, lets say I wanted to create a family using dynamo in a generic environment, and creating some parameters as well, after completing the model, it is obvious to loaded into the project environment, the question is, can I still change the parameter using dynamo in the project environment, or I’ll have to go back to the generic model environment make the change, then load it into the project, thanks in advance!!
