This is about adaptive component locations

Hello,
I have selected element in “select model element” but still in adaptive component locations it shows Empty, though I have linked both these activities. why is it so? assist me please.

how did place the component? is it driven by the host? are you sure about the selection?

you could also use Catgories → All Elements of Category →

You got an empty list in the select model so you haven’t selected anything yet

but element number is there. and i selected element from family in revit.

that one also shows same problem. you can see it in picture. i have applied that method too. i dont know why.

are you in a designmodel (rfa) or are you in the project (.rvt)?

i tried both. but still the same… does it have any effect if file is closed and then open?

when it is in a project, you search for a nested family…
