Start and End Points on Columns

I’m using a dynamo to place 2d details conponents on a column using the columns’ start and/or end points, but when another element is intersecting those points, (usually a floor), the detail component does not show. However If I copy the columns into a separate file alone, it works. Can tell me how to ignore that intersection? Anyone encounter this?

Why don’t you just insert the Detail Component inside the family?

@Daniel_Hurtubise The detail component cannot be on inside the family. Any other ideas?
