If you don’t like the results of it in the UI, why build it with code as you’ll just be able to add something you don’t like in bulk very quickly…
The first step of any automation is to understand the flow of the manual process.
I thought you were just suggesting another way to do it in Revit.
For now, yes. Once you know if it is good we can discuss code, but spending hours building a family creation script in the hopes it is usable seems silly when the task in the UI takes minutes and can verify if the results of code would be satisfactory.
Pfff, spending hours and getting something that’s not good (or doesn’t work at all) is half the fun isn’t it?
