Schedule of geometry area

How can I calculate surface areas or selected geometry and create schedule with that data?

You’re probably going to want to use the Select model element to start with but after that it becomes rather dependent on what exactly you want. What kind of area is it and what kind of schedule do you want from it?

Let’s say if I have a model of conceptual masses and I want to find surface areas of each level?

Revit calculates mass surface area automatically.

Revit already calculates the surface area of a conceptual mass [image] You would need to separate out the vertical (or near vertical) faces for just the façade- so could use Dynamo for this Andrew

If they are separate masses you may have to join them in dynamo and get the surface area there.

Got a Dynamo graph you can share that generated this? Assuming your geometry is solely in Dynamo you could export to xls format easily by grabbing the floors at creation.
