Scale down rectangle width

Hi all,

It might be a basic question but I am wondering how do I scale down (reduce) only the widths of rectangles (as polycurve) in Dynamo?

Well i suppose it depends how they’re drawn…

But I did this:

Pretty sure there must be an easier way but I got a bit carried away

Red one is the original and the smaller green one is the new rectangle.
