Revit to Excel and Back Workflow Part1

This is my attempt to provide a complete workflow process.

My Setup:

  • Revit 2016
  • Dynamo 1.2.1
  • Metric System

Part1

  1. Creating Excel File from Revit Type Family
  • After putting together a graph, I had trouble rounding numbers/removing trailing zeros and got help with it on another post with these results.
  • I wasn’t able to find the proper conversion factor for the HVAC/Pressure parameter so I used the Lunchbox node to get the document value.
  1. Which produced an Excel file with the available data from the model. Now it’s ready to be modified by someone using Excel who has no knowledge of Revit.
