The big light grey square in the middle of the Dynamo window is where you see Dynamo geometry. It will also display in Revit 3D view as blue as well.
Make sure you set the dynamo to automatic mode with the buttons on bottom left of dynamo window.

yes, I’m aware of that. my question is why I can’t see a display of the wall on dynamo
Zoom out? Using scroll wheel of mouse? Also press Run maybe?
Edit: top right of canvas area of dynamo you can toggle between nodes and background previews. Once inside background preview mode you can zoom out.

I did all that…
Maybe close down dynamo. Then open a new Dynamo script and make sure the bottom left is set Automatic mode not Manual mode. Then as when you add the nodes they should show the geometry.
If that doesn’t work, I think others might be able to help if you tell us what version of Revit you are using and what version of Dynamo you are you using.
My gut feeling is zooming out should do it
Edit: Has background preview been disabled or is it really small. At the top go to Settings Geometry scaling set to large. I’m stuck for ideas looks like maybe a fault.
