Revit - Copy hidden elements from a view to another

Hello,

Is it possible to copy the hidden elements from one view and apply them to another one? If yes, where should I start?

Thanks in advance,
André

Have a look at this video on how to identify hidden elements in a view.

Do some research on how to hide elements in a view with dynamo.

Add the resulting portions together to get your result.

That’s interesting.
I’m not sure if I expressed it in the best way, but the idea is to also hide the copied hidden elements on the new view.

Thanks

Hello Christian,

I was following your example, but it is not completely working; the elements are not hiding on the new view.
What could be happening here?

Thanks,
André

Maybe is related with this notification:

Don’t forget to activate hidden elements so that the elements are ‘‘visible’’ by the Get Hidden Elements node.

You may have a template on the view that is in the way as a track

Hello Christian,

Your script is actually working. The problem is somehow related to the template that I previously had. I created a new one, and everything is working well now.

Thanks.
