Revit 2017 Dynamo Offset of Mass

Hello,

The answer to this could be simple but I can’t seem to find a solution.

For some reason since I’ve upgraded to Revit 2017 Dynamo offsets the massing file I place in the project. It is a very strange behavior as it is not a consistent offset. Below are two screenshots where I moved the mass just to check if the dynamo (the orange representation) will follow, or at least offset consistently so I can just offset it back, but as you can see it doesn’t. While I have no need to move the model in the future, every time I close and reopen the model and dynamo the whole thing offsets again randomly. So it is not even consistent between sessions. Any idea?

I’ll hazard a guess and say that when you insert the mass, Positioning is set to Center to Center in the Import/Link window. Changing this to Origin to Origin might solve your problem.

And also don’t forget to pin your model.
