Revit 2017 + Dynamo 2.0 = No Dynamo player?

Hi,

I’m trying to use the Dynamo Player with Dynamo 2.0 in Revit 2017, but after selecting version 2.0, the dynamo player is no longer available.

Just to be clear, the DynamoPlayer works well if I select Version 1.3.3. BUT it will hang if I select a script thats been saved in version 2.0, since the versions are not compatible.

I’m using the latest version of Revit 2017,

Things I have tried:

Completely uninstall all versions of Dynamo then, Re-install version 2.0

Completely uninstall all versions of Dynamo then, Re-install Dynamo 1.3.3 then version 2.0

Is there specific options that need to be selected when installing Dynamo 2.0 to enable the player in Revit 2017?

We are experiencing the issue as well in both Revit 2017.2 and 2018.2 with Dynamo 2.0.1 installed. I have go through the entire uninstall/reinstall process as well. I have also uninstalled all other versions of dynamo from my computer.

Does the Dynamo player work at all in 2017 then?
