Hi, have this dynamo script that renames most family types, now trying to use script for renaming DirectShape type name it doesnt work, any idea why?
Can you copy and paste all the nodes inside the Element.SetName to the main project and share what errors the python node is throwing?

I think its depends on how the direct shape is created, if ootb there isnt any type or Family/type name parameter, if you use costum nodes , spring ,synthezise it create a type and think it can be renamed
