Question about Genius Loci package

Hi @Alban_de_Chasteigner,

First of all thank you for your excelent package, i use it a lot!

But i do have a question.
It seems like the nodes “FamilyInstance Reference ByRefLine” and “FamilyInstance Reference ByType” can only handle one output. I’m sure the FamilyInstance contains more than one “StrongReferences”. But they show only one.

Ultimately my goal is to select all “ReferenceLines” in a selected FamilyInstance, and sort them by SubCategory (because Reference Lines don’t have the option to give them names like ReferencePlanes).

Thanks in advance

Hi @MJB-online,

Thank you for this remark. Effectively the nodes only produce a single result. I will see what I can change to improve them.
Best regards,

Your package contains a very nice selection of Reference nodes which are very useful for dimensioning. But as mentioned above, a node for the selection of Reference Lines per subCategory would be a valuable addition. But this is just a friendly suggestion from a satisfied “Genius Loci” user :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi,

I corected the custom nodes.
The updated nodes can be downloaded and the old node replaced in C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Dynamo\Dynamo Revit\2.16\packages\Genius Loci\dyf
(You need to click the Raw button and right click save as to properly download the custom node.)

I don’t have enough free time to create a Reference Lines per subCategory node right now but I noted the request.

Hi Alban,

thank you very much :+1:.
I will update the package as you indicate.
