We are about to write our BSc and would like to look in to an automated intelligent optimization of steel structures. We were wondering if anybody knows if it is possible to reach Advanced Bar Properties and like wise in RSA using some Python script?
Furthermore, is there a way to make steel joints in Dynamo and transfer them for calculation in RSA?
As for Dynamo for RSA it is possible to run analysis on the whole structure and calculate internal forces in elements including their nodes.
Steel joints dimensioning and code checking is not exposed in Dynamo yet and has to be conducted outside of RSA.
