I have a number of families within a project which contain some purge-able stuff. Filesizes of those families are increased that way.
Openingen those families manually, purge, all, ok, purge, all, ok, load back into project … is a lot of work.
So I’d figured, is this possible using dynamo.

Last I heard Purge is not available in the API.
You can play the dangerous game of checking for unplaced family types/elements and deleting them but that’s not suggested.
I have found that even after Dynamo or Revit cleaned families they still come up with more purgeable (word?) items after saving and reopening. Fill patterns, line styles etc… It seems there are certain Revit properties that are recreated by default.
