I am trying to make inputs for choosing insulation type and pipe type. Now I have the inputs as numbers, but will be better to have them as text or drop-down list.
Any idea?

Look into Data-Shapes. It’s a great package for user input and will allow you to make selections from a dropdown or list selection.
