Package manager woes


Does anyone know how to get the package manager working through a proxy server/firewall ?

When connected through the company network, no packages are available.
If I disconnect and use my phone hotspot, it works fine- but doing this, or manually installing is a nuisance.

You could also download the packages from and unzip the files in the folder C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Dynamo\Dynamo Revit\DynamoVersion\packages\PackageName

The manual method is ok, but being lazy, I like the package manager because it sorts out dependencies & is easier to see what needs to be updated.


You could ask your IT team to unblock Proxy/Firewall for you.
