Object type selection

Hello,

I am working on my first Dynamo script.
When I click “Run” I get the objects listed but I cannot convert them to an actual selection in Civil 3D?
I know I have to close Dynamo and use the Dynamo player to run the script.

In the Arkance Systems Node Library is a node called ImpliedSelection which you can use to make a selection of objects in Civil 3D.

Thanks for the quick reply, that did the trick.
Ok I understand that the selection only exists in Dynmao.

Why isn’t such basic functionality available in the base package?

Dynamo is designed to do things with objects in the environment itself, so an implied selection in Civil3D is not required functionality.

I understand now, I wanted to delete the objects so I thought I needed a selection.
Seems that I can delete them straight away.
