Nurbs curve methods

Hello guys,
I have 2 questions … the first one that what is the difference between nurbs curve and poly curve ?
the second is … Is there a website or something can I know more about nurbs curve methods or any kind of dynamo’s methods and classes like RevitApiDocs ?
