Navigational Dilemma: Transitioning from Deprecated Lunchbox Commands in Dynamo to Alternative Functionalities

Greetings,

I find myself in a state of perplexity regarding the utilization of the Dynamo environment, specifically concerning the transition from the Lunchbox toolkit, which appears to have fallen into obsolescence in conjunction with my recent upgrade from Revit 2019 to Revit 2023. As an individual who lacks a comprehensive understanding of Dynamo, my engagement has predominantly revolved around employing the ‘run’ command embedded within the scripts of my acquaintances and other contributors.

Previously, my workflow benefited from the functionalities provided by the Lunchbox package; however, upon the recent update, I have encountered a significant impediment—namely, the conspicuous absence of Lunchbox in my available list of packages, despite my efforts to install it via the Package Manager as well as through manual installation methodologies.

In light of this predicament, I am reaching out to ascertain whether there exists a viable pathway to substitute the functionalities of the Lunchbox command, as delineated in the accompanying printscreen, with an equivalent command or alternative package that aligns with my current Dynamo setup. Any guidance or suggestions you could proffer to facilitate this transition would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your assistance. :smiling_face_with_tear: :smiling_face_with_tear: :smiling_face_with_tear:

The image wasn’t attached so we can’t give any specific guidance for particular nodes. I do believe Rhythm and Clockwork have many functions covered though, so you might want to check there. Note that names may not match so it will take some review.

Please post a list of nodes that you are missing so folks can suggest alternatives.
