i want to move and rotate a few linked files in my projectv (or place them at a specificpoint)… i don’t care a bout shared coordinates and things like that… i just want to move them to a new point like you can do with a family. but i can’t find a way

Hi @Arno_De_Lange , The custom nodes Element SetLocation and Element SetRotation from the Genius Loci package should do the trick.

Hi, This should work. Try a simpler case without all the previous operations to determine the problem. (transaction, list level, lacing…) [links]

[image] this way the rotation works but element set location still gives null

it is strange when you select through select model element it works… if i do it through my script by placing the links then do a transaction end and start and feed the node the same element with the same ID it gives 0
