Does anyone know if there is a way to link alignment station and offset labels to the frequency of a corridor? I am trying to get the cogo points into excel with an accompanying drawing with all the equivalent alignment station labels but I may need to change the frequency of the corridor for design iterations or add some custom frequency locations - it would be really helpful to have civil 3D change the points accordingly for extraction. I hope that makes sense.
Hi,
You can extract a feature line from the corridor’s codes (choose a specific code) because every point on the feature line is related to the frequency used for calculations.
Great, thanks - Do you know if there is a way to link the alignment station label with the frequency of the corridor as well?
Do you want to label just the station and offset for a given point? I don’t understand what information you have as input. Can you give an example?
Hi @A.C3D, So if you have an alignment which has formed the basis of a corridor that you have also built - you have then set the frequency to say 1m on all frequency parameters (tangential and curves). This has then built a corridor with assemblies at frequency points according to the frequency parameters i.e every 1m. I know that you can automatically generate cogo points with this info but I was wondering if you can then make the alignment labels appear and dynamically change when you change the frequency settings. It may be possible in a dynamo script? Sorry for the long winded explanation - this is partly me trying to work out exactly what I mean.
