Hi Every one,
I have drawn line from points extracted from excel points as you can see in screenshot below and insert blocks on these points it is don but i am having problem of line and blocks are extending from desire points can anyone help me how can i specify lines according to that excel sheet file points. thanks
where dynamo and civil 3d screenshots are attached
Hi,
Could you explain more? You can upload files to help you.
Yeah of course,
as you can see in dynamo points are extending as i want to just divide the drawn line and insert blocks (as mentioned in above) on these points perfectly without without extending line or points.
Hi,
Have you used this node to divide your line?
I’m not sure what your goal is. Upload your file to help us provide you with the best solution.

Here is dynamo file where you can clearly see that the points that has to divide the line perfectly are extending beyond that
and this node which you have mentioned isn’t working in this case (Curve.pointAtEqualSegment)
Hi,
It’s works fine Curve.pointAtEqualSegmentLength.
Yeah brother that divide the line exactly but it encounters the error as you can see
and in civil 3D nothing is showing as before
and if you that can you send me that dynamo which is you have corrected and if you needed i will share the civil 3D fille
What’s the error message?
there’s the dyn.

Here are the excel sheet and civil 3D files you can insert blocks through excel in civil 3D through dynamo
how to solve this while generating block it wasn’t there i don’t know ow where it came from
Actually i want to draw lines on these points which are mentioned in the excel sheet and then divide those lines on 1260mm points each (length of a block is 1260mm) on each points i want to insert that blocks named (AZ18-d)
And see if i remove the block line from block editor then the actual line drawn from the excel points are removed ?
Polycurve.ByPoints > Grometry.Explode > Curves.PointsAtEqualSegmentLength
could you draw a script for me i am beginner it would help me a lot
I made some changes to your code and modified your block definition.
