I recently stumbled upon a post from @Einar_Raknes about renumbering the Rebar Number parameter by changing the Schedule Mark parameter in schedules and it is all automated in dynamo.
I tried to use a similar approach by modifying that script so I would be able to change the Fabric Number parameter but it wont work. The reason why I want to change that parameter manually is because when I add a new sheet or change its type it creates a newly generated number and for documentation this gets really messy when u have numbers all over the Structural Foundation or floor.
My approach was to create a new text project parameter with the name “Schedule Mark” as an instance for categories Structural Fabric Areas and Structural Fabric Reinforcement. The first script works just fine, it creates a new schedule for Structural Fabric Reinforcement and it aligns the Fabric Number with the custom Schedule Mark parameter. The second script won’t work and I dont know what I did wrong. I am new to dynamo and I am wondering if editing the Fabric Number parameter is even possible.
